Are we masters of our fate??
“Never was any generation of men intent upon the pursuit of well-being more advantageously placed to attain it,who yet, with seeming deliberation, took the opposite course-towards chaos instead of order, towards breakdown instead of stability, towards death, destruction & darkness instead of life, creativity & light.” -Malcolm Muggeridge. A few things continue to amaze : the persistent incompetence of the governments in charge of one of the most intelligent nations on earth, the abysmal depths to which the nation with the finest spiritual heritage has sunk,& the phenomenal capacity for endurance of the simple,honest,down-trodden poor. This nation tends to be pulled by the stirngs of the politicians…we refuse to think…we refuse to talk our mind..we refuse to act…but,we never refuse to criticise…criticism is not enough for the betterment of our nation..We are not puppets..we are provided with a mind to think & act..Fate is not what decides a person..but a person decides his fate…the fate he decides for himself..decides the fate of the entire society..which in turn decides the fate of the entire nation..It takes the strength & courage of all the residents of a house to build a stable household..similarly all the citizens who exist with the thoughts of a better tomorrow should contribute themselves for a better nation for our children atleast.

I couldn’t agree more. It seems that people are now choosing to live in a world of evil and discontent. We are making our own fate, we are digging our own grave together. We, as a whole society, must make a huge attempt to change, or I fear, we may have created our own demise.
